UFC 261 Results and Closing Odds – MMA Post Show: UFC 261 took place on Saturday, April 24th. From the VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

The event was headlined by three title fights and was the first UFC Event in the United States to have fans in attendance, since before the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020.

The event was headlined by UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, as he defeated Jorge Masvidal via 2nd round knockout, cashing as a -270 favorite.

In the co-main event, former UFC Women’s Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas became the first woman to ever recapture UFC gold, as she defeated Weili Zhang with a first-round, head-kick, knockout; pulling off the upset as a +180 underdog.

In the first of the three title fights on the card, Valentina Shevchenko put on a master class performance, defeating Jessica Andrade via 2nd round T/KO, cashing in as a heavy -430 favorite.

Anthony Smith caught Crute with a leg kick in the back of the knee, causing Crute’s foot and ankle to turn over numerous times. Crute shot in for the takedown and managed to survive the final minute of the round, but was barely able to make it back to his feet, and after being observed, the doctor waived off the fight.

Smith cashes as a +216 underdog and was lined at +450 to win ‘Inside the Distance’. With the win, Smith has won 6 of his last 10 fights by way of stoppage, turning a profit of +$904 on the ‘Inside the Distance’ prop dating back to 2018.
